What packages are available to your school?

The most popular of all our products, Infant Language Link is a key tool in early identification of children's language needs. Our standardised assessment can be used to screen all Reception children. With instant results, you will be able to immediately identify any language needs and implement tailored interventions. Junior Language Link can be used as a follow on from Infant Language Link or as a stand-alone language product. Following the use of our online standardised assessment with a child, you will receive instant results and tailored intervention plans to target help where it is needed. All the resources, plans, strategies, progress measures and reports you need are provided, equipping you to address the SLCN needs of your children. Read More
If you have a child in any of your Key Stage 1 classes who appears to have a speech sound difficulty, then you can use our assessment to highlight their areas of need and conduct interventions accordingly. The assessment will tell you which speech sound errors need to be addressed at the child's current age and which of those to work on first. All of the resources, plans, progression measures and classroom strategies are instantly downloadable. Read More
Secondary Language Link acts as a Year 7 screening tool, aiming to target communication support where it is needed. Both the interactive assessment and the content-rich intervention programme, 'Talk Fitness' engage young people and reflect the typical language of their educational and social environment. This package also includes SEND CPD training for the school team in the form of two online, on-demand training sessions. Read More

A Headteacher and SEN Governor ask...

Why do I need to prioritise Speech and Language in my school?

7% of children at 5 years old have biological based specific language impairment (Tomlin J.B. et al, 1997)

A further 1.8% of children have SLCN related to hearing, physical impairment or learning disability (Enderby P et al, 2013)

Up to 56% of children may start school with significant language delays linked to social disadvantage (Locke A, Ginsborg J, Peers I, 2002; Law J, McBean K, Rush R, 2011)

It is therefore estimated that an average of 2-3 children in a class of 30 have SLCN.

“Speech, Language and Communication Needs are the most common type of primary SEN in primary schools, making up 29% of the total.” (DfE school census data, 2012)

How can I maximise school budget and staff deployment?

At a time of pressure on school funding, many schools are looking for effective, low-cost solutions. Our products are focused on tackling SLCN to maximum effect whilst remaining affordable.

What's more, with interventions for all ages and levels fully resourced, planning time for the teaching team is minimal. Reports at pupil, class and cohort level are instantly generated at the click of a button.

Range of packages to suit your budget

How can I effectively present SEN and Pupil Premium outcomes to Ofsted?

Reports, provision maps and pupil cards are instantly available at the touch of a button for your every reporting need.

Anonymised whole school reports can be produced to show assessment results, how many children are experiencing moderate or severe communication difficulties, provision allocated and measured outcomes.

Data can then be drilled into to examine cohorts, classes and individuals in more detail. You can identify areas of need at class level to inform whole class strategies, as well as individual children's areas of need to inform targeted interventions.

A child’s journey can be tracked from Reception to Year 6, or Year 7 to 9, in a single report.
